North Sea Shores
North Sea Shores is looking for funding to develop a varied
portfolio of projects that encourage a greater engagement of peoples of the
North Sea Shores in the culture, languages, social thinking, creative literature,
food and drink of their "co-literals" who live in the other countries
that surround the North Sea. The following are some of the first elements we plan to develop
in 2008-9.
Networks & Dissemination
northseashores.com will share information on cultural events and cooperations in the region;
act as a catalyst for anyone developing collaborative ventures; give information
on funding; and publicize the North Sea Region as a vibrant cultural pole.
This will extend the public knowledge of and interaction with existing
networks and invite contact and collaboration between organisations like North Sea Jazz, North Sea Maritime Museum Network, Svensk Form, Nolde Stiftung Seebühl, Kulturkontakt Nord, Skagen's Museum, Stavanger
2008-North Sea Project, European
Cultural Tourism Network, Stiftung

across the broad spread of culture, literature, food and drink, design, academic
groups, and museums.
